Scope
These terms concern the use of the antiairtag.com website, the AntiAirtag mobile app, and AntiAirtag-branded hardware. Purchases are additionally governed by the preliminary information form, distance sales agreement, and delivery and return terms. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
Purpose of the product
AntiAirtag is a personal-safety tool that helps scan compatible Bluetooth Low Energy signals broadcasting nearby and follow the approximate proximity of a selected signal. The product:
- Does not definitively determine a broadcast’s brand/model or bad intent,
- Does not measure distance with centimeter precision,
- Does not detect devices that are off, not broadcasting, out of range, or non-Bluetooth,
- Is no substitute for emergency aid, law enforcement, or professional security services,
- Does not jam or block radio signals.
Safe and lawful use
Use the products only for legitimate personal safety, checking your own property, and lawful technical review. Violating others’ privacy, unauthorized surveillance, disrupting communications, bypassing security measures, or unlawfully collecting data is prohibited.
If you suspect persistent stalking or urgent danger, move to a safe area, preserve evidence if possible, and contact law enforcement. If it is not safe, do not dismantle a device you find on your own or confront its owner.
Account, app, and permissions
Core Bluetooth scanning needs no account. The operating system may request Bluetooth and, on some versions, location permission for Bluetooth scanning. You can manage permissions in device settings; if a needed permission is off, the related feature may not work.
The app store, device compatibility, and operating-system requirements may change over time. Supported versions are stated on the store page.
Software and updates
The app and hardware firmware may be updated for security, performance, compatibility, and new features. Installing critical updates is recommended. Keep the device charged and connected during updates. Do not use the software for reverse engineering, unauthorized modification, adding malicious code, or bypassing technical restrictions; cases the law expressly allows are reserved.
Intellectual property
Rights to the AntiAirtag name, logo, site design, original text, software, interface, and visuals belong to the company or the relevant licensors. They may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially beyond personal and lawful use.
AntiAirtag is an independent brand and is not affiliated with Apple Inc. AirTag and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc., mentioned only to explain compatibility and the product category.
Limitation of liability
Technical indicators are affected by environmental conditions and are not definitive diagnosis. Users should not base an important safety decision on the suspicion score or RSSI reading in the app alone. To the extent the legislation allows, no liability is accepted for indirect damage or consequences arising from the user’s unlawful/wrong use. Liability arising from intent, gross negligence, product safety, and mandatory consumer provisions is reserved.
