What is a cookie?
Cookies are small data files that may be stored in your browser when you visit a website. Local storage, pixels, and device identifiers used for similar purposes are also called “cookies” in this policy.
Our current use
The AntiAirtag landing site works as static in its basic form and does not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising/marketing. The hosting and security infrastructure may create essential technical identifiers and server logs for session security, load balancing, or preventing misuse.
When e-commerce opens, essential cookies may be used for the cart, checkout step, language preference, and security. If non-essential analytics, personalization, or marketing cookies are activated, they stay off by default and your explicit choice is taken.
Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Basis / choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Secure browsing, cart, payment, and fraud prevention | Needed to provide the service; disabling may break the service |
| Functional | Remembering language or interface preference | Your choice/consent where appropriate |
| Analytics | Aggregate visit and performance measurement | Not essential; consent if activated |
| Marketing | Interest-based ads and campaign measurement | Not essential; explicit consent if activated |
Managing your choices
When non-essential cookies are introduced, you can choose from the “Cookie preferences” panel on the site and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect functions such as cart/checkout.
Third parties and retention
When you are directed to a third-party service such as payments, that provider’s own cookie and privacy policies may apply. The cookie name, provider, purpose, and duration list is shown current in the preferences panel once production integrations are finalized. Timed cookies are limited to the shortest period needed for the purpose; session cookies are deleted at the end of the session.
